Contest ("Contest") open to all legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia, age 21 years or older as of August 30, 2005, who are not under contract with a talent agency or represented by an agent, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. Employees (and their immediate families and those living in the same household) of TNT Originals, Inc. ("TNT") (the "Sponsor"), Turner Broadcasting System, Inc. ("TBS"), Time Warner ("Time Warner"), Creaxion Corporation ("Creaxion") and their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, divisions, trustees, franchisees, participating vendors, distributors, and advertising and promotion agencies (collectively the "Contest Entities") are not eligible to enter or win. Void wherever taxed, prohibited or restricted by law. Contest is governed by U.S. law and subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. By entering the Contest, entrants agree to accept and be bound by all terms of these Official Rules and Regulations ("Official Rules") and understand that they may appear in television, internet, print media and/or radio coverage of the Contest. Sponsor reserves the right to verify eligibility of any entrant. HOW TO ENTER: From August 31, 2005 - October 25, 2005 (the "Entry Period"), Sponsor will conduct a Contest encouraging participants to audition for a chance to compete in a dramatic acting contest and begin their pursuit of an acting career. During the Entry Period, there are two (2) ways to enter. Participants can either: (A)(i) log on to the TNT website, www.tnt.tv, for information regarding the location of First Round auditions, tentatively scheduled to take place in each of the following cities (list of cities is subject to change or reduction): New York, New York; Los Angeles, California; and Chicago, Illinois, (each a "City") and (ii) travel, at their own expense, to one of the Cities on the date(s) and time(s) indicated by Sponsor and register on-site at the audition location by: (1) completing the contest application (which may also be found on the TNT website) (the "Contest Application"), including their name, address, phone number (including the area code), e-mail address, birth date and other requested information; (2) providing one (1) form of currently valid, government issued picture ID showing participant's current address and a photocopy of such picture ID for Sponsor's files; (3) signing the provided release form; (4) picking up a copy of the Official Rules from the audition location; and (5) performing a dramatic scene (which will be recorded by Sponsor) (the "Audition") from a script provided to participants at the audition location and/or located on the TNT website (participants will have several scripts from which to choose) (collectively, the "Entry Materials"). Sponsor reserves the option to employ various pre-screening qualifiers, as it deems necessary, in order to facilitate the First Round audition process. Sponsor reserves the right to set aside a select number of Audition spots in each City for radio station promotion participants. Notwithstanding the foregoing, Sponsor may select individuals from the crowd to audition and depending on the size of the crowd, an individual may not be allowed to audition or be seen by the judges in person; or (B) participants can create a sixty second (:60) videotaped or digital recording of himself/herself performing a dramatic scene from a script posted on the TNT website, www.tnt.tv (the "Videotape") and either: (i) upload a digital version of their Videotape onto the TNT website in one of the following file formats: QuickTime, .AVI or MPEG; complete the online Contest Application by entering the requested information (including their first name, last name, script title chosen, e-mail address and phone number); and fax a signed release to (404) 495-4430; or (ii) submit the Videotape on a VHS tape or DVD (no mini DV's, 8mm or VHS-C or other formatted entries will be accepted) along with all applicable Entry Materials outlined above (including a completed Contest Application, a copy of a currently valid, government issued picture ID showing participant's current address and a completed and signed release form) on-site in one (1) of the Cities listed above on the date(s) and time(s) indicated by Sponsor or via U.S. Mail or by express courier service (e.g. Federal Express, Airborne Express) to: "Dramatic Auditions Contest" Entry, c/o Creaxion, 3353 Peachtree Road, N.E., Suite 535, Atlanta, GA 30326; postmarked by October 25, 2005 and received by October 31, 2005. Participants uploading entries on the TNT website must complete the upload and transmit the fax by October 25, 2005 and will be required to provide currently valid, government issued picture ID if selected as a Semi-Finalist. The file size of an uploaded entry may not exceed 6 MB. The maximum video image size of an uploaded entry may not exceed 320 x 240. Limit one (1) entry per person, regardless of method of entry. All Entry Materials become the property of the Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned. All entries must be submitted in the name of an individual person and prizes can only be awarded to the person whose name is on each winning entry. No mechanical reproductions or facsimiles accepted. Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any entry at any time in the event it is determined that the entrant has not complied with these Official Rules. The Released Parties (as defined below) are not responsible for misdirected, incomplete, lost, late, illegible, undeliverable or postage-due entries, technical, hardware, or software failures of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed, incomplete, garbled or delayed computer transmissions or other errors or problems which may limit or affect a person's ability to participate in the Contest. In the event of sabotage, acts of God, terrorism or threats thereof, computer virus or other events or causes beyond the Sponsor's control, which corrupt the integrity, administration, security or proper operation of the Contest, Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to modify, cancel or suspend the Contest (or portion thereof). In the event of cancellation, Sponsor reserves the right to judge all eligible, non-suspect entries received for the applicable City (if any) or by mail prior to the event requiring such cancellation. False or deceptive entries or acts will render the entrant ineligible. Even if an individual is deemed eligible, he/she may not receive a chance to be seen by a judge due to a limited number of people Sponsor may see in each city; However, he/she may submit a tape or DVD as described above. FIRST ROUND JUDGING: Twenty (20) Semi-Finalists (five (5) Semi-Finalists from each City and five (5) Semi-Finalists from the Videotape entries) (the "Semi-Finalists) will be selected by a qualified panel of judges consisting of entertainment industry professionals selected by Sponsor, who may vary by round, by City and for judging Videotape entries (the "Judges"), from among all eligible entries received in each City specified above and via Videotape. Selection of the Semi-Finalists will be based equally upon the following criteria: (i) technical skill/interpretive ability, (ii) stage presence, (iii) confidence level and (iv) marketability/appearance (the "Judging Criteria"). Each Semi-Finalist will be notified by standard U.S. mail, e-mail and/or telephone between October 8, 2005 and October 31, 2005, must be available to travel on the Finals Date (as defined below) and will be required to fulfill all requirements set forth herein or such Semi-Finalist's place will be forfeited and awarded to a runner-up. Semi-Finalists may be required to pass a civil, criminal and financial background check and may be disqualified if such check reveals anything in Sponsor's discretion that merits such action. SECOND ROUND JUDGING: Videotapes and videotaped performances of Semi-Finalists' Auditions will be evaluated by the Judges in the second round (the "Second Round") where the Judges will select three (3) finalists (the "Finalists") to compete in the final round (the "Final Round") in Los Angeles, California on or around November 14, 2005 (the "Finals Date"). Selection of the Finalists will be based on the Judging Criteria. Finalists will be notified by telephone, e-mail, express courier service and/or standard U.S. mail. FINAL ROUND JUDGING: One (1) Grand Prize winner (the "Grand Prize Winner") will be selected on or around December 14, 2005 from the three (3) Finalists. The three (3) Finalists will be asked to perform a scene selected by Sponsor at a "call back" audition to be held in Los Angeles, California (the "Finals Audition"). Judges will judge the Finals Audition based on the Judging Criteria. In the event of a tie in any round, an additional "tie-breaking" judge will judge such tied entrants based on the Judging Criteria. The decision of the Judges in all rounds will be final and binding in all matters. PRIZES: SEMI-FINALIST PRIZE: Twenty (20) Semi-Finalists will each receive a check in the amount of One Thousand Dollars ($1,000). Approximate Retail Value ("ARV"): One Thousand Dollars ($1,000) per Semi-Finalist. FINALIST PRIZE: Three (3) Finalists will each receive a three (3) day/two (2) night trip for two (2) to Los Angeles, California on or around the Finals Date. All expenses and costs not specified herein as being awarded, including, but not limited to, federal, state and local taxes, gratuities, additional meals and souvenirs, are the sole responsibility of the Finalist. GRAND PRIZE: One (1) Grand Prize Winner will receive a "break into acting" prize (in addition to the Finalist Prize listed above). GENERAL RULES AND REGULATIONS: By entering this Contest and/or accepting a prize, participants grant Sponsor and its designees the right, unless prohibited by law, to use their names, cities and states of residences, voices, pictures and likenesses (including recorded Auditions, submitted Videotapes and/or media coverage), without compensation, notification or approval, for the purpose of advertising, promotional and other purposes, in any manner or medium, now or hereafter known, throughout the world in perpetuity. Each Semi-Finalist may each be required to sign an affidavit of eligibility, liability release, tax acknowledgment form and, except where prohibited by law, publicity release and return within five (5) business days of issuance of notification. Noncompliance within this time period or failure of any Semi-Finalist to respond to a notification attempt within five (5) days of such attempt may result in disqualification and, at Sponsor's discretion, an alternate Semi-Finalist may be selected. If: (i) any prize or prize notification is returned as undeliverable, (ii) if a Finalist or Grand Prize Winner declines his or her prize, (iii) a Finalist is unable to travel on dates approved by Sponsor or (iv) a Semi-Finalist, Finalist or Grand Prize Winner fails to comply with any of the Official Rules as outlined herein, he/she will be disqualified and a runner-up will be selected by the Judges at the Sponsor's sole discretion. Feisty, a hard partier, Zoey loves the pledge Emily but understands that with her sub-par grades she can only get in if no legacy applies and Zoey's only too willing to humiliate and abuse the fat, geeky legacy Katie Whittingham so that Katie will want nothing more to do with OK. Unfortunately, Katie's death kind of cramps the girls' style, and Zoey winds up with her best girlfriends at the police station explaining in her undauntable way how she spent her evening. LEAD ROLE Mai Wong: 21. A beautiful Asian girl, Mai is a proud Omega Kappa girl and devoted best friends with Zoey and Lana. A girl who sprinkles her speech with "like" and "dudes" and says "totes" for totally, Mai is gay and has been having a clandestine long-term relationship with Rachel Winters - who is not Omega Kappa material. Mai has a hard night at the "Rush Till You Puke" party after an emotional run-in with Rachel, but the night definitely goes downhill after that when Katie turns up dead in Lana's bedroom, and all three girls are suspected by the police of killing her. LEAD ROLE Jeff Cook: 21. A good looking ultra preppy frat guy (Delta Omega Xi), Jeff is Lana's on-again, off-again boyfriend; now, they're on again. Jeff has an ulterior motive for being back with Lana: he's been recording their love-making with a hidden camera, and is about to make them available campus-wide for a sizable profit. Despite this, Jeff winds up actually falling in love with Lana, and thinks that they might have a future together - even though he's frequently annoyed at her obsession with her precious Omega Kappa. Though Jeff is briefly (and rather violently) suspected of being Katie's murderer by the girls, he winds up vindicated and, in fact, goes into the sex video business with Lana. LEAD ROLE Emily: A perfect blonde rushee, who almost looks like a mini-Lana, Emily is an enthusiastic fan of Omega Kappa and makes it clear she wants to join more than anything. Described by Molly as "funny, super cool and a down-home party girl," Emily understands that her grades aren't that good and that she may be bumped if a legacy wants to join the house in her place. Determined to do anything to secure her place, Emily makes sure the fat, geeky legacy Katie has a horrible time at the rush party and the question is, did Emily kill Katie to ensure her own acceptance in OK? LEAD ROLE Katie: 18 - 25, slightly overweight, with glasses and gobs of cover-up, Katie is the daughter of former Omega Kappa sister Catherine Whittingham, and as such is a legacy who's practically guaranteed a spot in the sorority. Geeky, overly excited to rush the sorority, Katie has no clue that the horrified OK girls are doing everything they can to make sure she has a rotten time at the rush party so she'll lose interest. Though scared, Katie drinks for the first time in her life, endures some surprising (to her) abusefrom Zoey especially, and winds up shirtless during the sorority's famous jello wrestling. Unaware that she's being sabotaged, the drunken Katie winds up having the time of her life which is tragically shortened when someone kills her while she's trying to sober up on Lana's bed. LEAD ROLE Patty: Quite and cute in a plain and slightly awkward sort of way, she's something of a maid of all work at Omega Kappa, ruthlessly ordered about to clean and fetch for the luckier OK girls. Treated by Lana with alternating abuse and false affection, Patty is an Omega Kappa legacy herself, who tried desperately to fit in (lost thirty pounds, bought new clothes) but never made it. She can't bear to see the same thing happening to Katie, and does what she thinks is the humane thing to spare Katie four years of misery. LEAD ROLE Detective Sams, Detective Richards: These two seasoned, serious, intimidating, no-nonsense detectives drag Lana, Zoey and Mai off for questioning after Katie's dead body is found stuffed in their sorority's freezer. Convinced that one of the girls committed the murder, they set out to divide and conquer, getting the girls in separate rooms and turning them against one another. Though they never wind up with a confession, they're confident one of the girls will crack within the next twenty four hours. LEAD ROLE Allie: A pink-haired Omega Kappa sister, she interviews rushee Ashley Nicholas, and hands her over to Zoey before moving on to another OK hopeful. She speaks up on behalf of Ashley at the meeting later, and at the rush party joins the taunting cheers aimed at Katie in the jello wrestling pit; Molly: A curly haired Omega Kappa sister, she talks with Emily during the rush interviews, and is very enthusiastic about her. She later speaks up on her behalf during the meeting at the sorority. Later, she presides at the shots bar at the rush party Catherine Whittington: A beautiful woman with long blonde hair and a face sculpted with plastic surgery, she was in Omega Kappa in the 1980s and has come back to make sure her daughter, Katie, rushes. Obviously wealthy and privileged but not stupid, she confides in Lana that she knows Katie "doesn't fit the OK bill," but she feels confident that the Omega Kappa experience will make her blossom and, as Lana's mother's old friend and fellow Omega Kappa, she asks Lana to make sure that Katie will get accepted James: A handsome, over-eager sophomore and a frat brother of Jeff's, James is totally impressed with Jeff's money making scheme of selling DVDs of him having sex with Lana. He and Chris go to Omega Kappa's Rush Till You Puke party, where parties hard, gets drunk, and regretfully postpones a sexual interlude with Zoey Chris: An African-American senior meathead, he's a frat brother of Jeff and James, and is part of Jeff's money making scheme to sell DVDs of him and Lana having sex. Chris parties hard at Omega Kappa's Rush Till You Puke party and jumps up on a table to yell out, "Jello wrestling time!" Officer Santocki, Officer Jaul: Santocki is an older male cop and Officer Jaul a younger, goofy looking guy. These two police officers patrolling the campus wind up at the Omega Kappa house, where they discover Katie's body thrust into the freezer and take in Lana, Zoey and Mai. Later, after the girls have been released and the officers have them under surveillance, the cops see Emily, Zoey and Mai running, and they take off after them Rachel Winters: Mai's secret lesbian lover, Rachel is not an Omega Kappa, and meets Mai clandestinely during the party. Together for all four years of college, Rachel is fed up with the secrecy of their relationship, and gives Mai an ultimatum Rushee #1 & #2: These two Omega Kappa rushee girls watch in awe as Lana walks by them Rho Chi: A senior girl with a camp counselor peppiness, she leads the freshman girls around to the sorority houses so they can get an idea of where they want to pledge Sorority Members: The members of the Omega Kappa sorority, they chant the sorority song as the rushees enter one by one and walk down the two rows of sisters Christa: This beautiful sorority girl talking to the geeky legacy rushee Fanny Applebaum gives the signal to Lana that Fanny is not appropriate Omega Kappa materia Fanny Applebaum: A plain rushee dressed in plaid, clearly not OK material, Fanny's a legacy (meaning she had a relative who was Omega Kappa) who's intimidated at the meet n' greet for the rushees.
