The Ten Commandments you should follow when called by casting directors (C.D.) and assistant casting directors (A.D.) from this service.
Once you’ve registered it is not necessary to call into the office everyday, the C.D. or A.D. will choose to either call or e-mail you and ask if you’re available to work on the set. Anticipate a 12 – hour workday with no conflict. We ask that you please keep conversation to a minimum. Once booked the casting director will give the following information. Be ready with pen and paper.
  • Call Time
  • - The time in which you need to be on the set
  • Contact
  • - Person or persons that you will report to
  • Location
  • - Where you will meet “the set”
  • Wardrobe
  • - How you will need to dress
  • Rate
  • - What you will be paid
  • Emergency Number
  • - incase you can’t make it do to an emergency
It is your responsibility to get on set (you must have reliable transportation)
When you arrive on set check in with your contact. He/She will then give out vouchers and tell you to go to holding or wardrobe. While on set be Professional and Follow Directions. When the Assistant Director takes you onto the set he/she will give direction and place you.
At the end of the day, have voucher on hand and get signed out from the A.D. The A.D. will give you a copy (carbon copy) for your records. Depending how fast payroll is you should receive your paycheck in about 2-4 weeks for EXTRA work. All other jobs booked vary from 30-60 days to receive payment.

    Do’s and Do not’s
Do arrive early Don’t show up late to the set
Do bring your ID and a PEN Don’t bring valuables
Do show up “Camera Ready” Don’t ask for photos and autographs from the principals
Do pick up after yourself Don’t bring friends/family that are not booked
Do know your sizes Don’t cancel last minute (this may put you in suspension)
Do have a Thomas Guide Map Don’t argue with the casting directors
Do submit photos of different looks Don’t visit the office unannounced
Do update info (size, haircut, phone, etc.) Don’t complain about not being booked (it’s not personal)
Do bring a book for down time Don’t bring sloppy wardrobe
Be reliable and have a dependable car Don’t slack off
